The Meanie took his current form on the Lightner Ranch in 1981, after a series of procedures pioneered by a Dr Moreau. His underpinnings first saw pavement in 1969, but his true essence was not revealed to the world until he shed his blue body and assumed an older, purer form, that of the 1957 ragtop. This metamorphosis required a name change, since 'Blue Meanie' clearly no longer applied, and 'Moldy-Tomato-Soup Meanie' was thought too cumbersome. Seventeen years, 100,000 miles, and several colors later, the Meanie lords over the other, less experienced cars in the DreamDump fleet.
